Good Night, Far Far Flies the Light

I composed this as a lullaby for my daughter, in 1978. The lyrics are
adapted from a poem by Victor Hugo.

D F#m Em A
Good night, good night

G Em A-7
Far, far flies the light, but still

D F#m Em A
God’s love flames above

G Em A A-7
Making our hearts bright

BRIDGE

D F#m Em A
Good night, good night

D F#m Em A
So far, so far flies the light

D F#m Em A Em A
But still God’s love flames above

D F#m Em A
Good Night ——
